I totally agree with Rosario. The meeting hosted by the Department of State in Washington last August 11-12, gave Latin American BNC's a unique opportunity to get closer to the people in WHA/PDA, thus encouraging us to strengthen our outreach to the underpriviledged through many different Programs.
Our Mission could not be accomplished without the recognition and the support of our Embassy Officers, John Dixon, Peter Samson, Larry Corwin, and the people who make part of their teams.
We are more than committed to continue to working on mutual understanding and cultural exchange between the U.S. and Manizales, Colombia. Our Board of Directors, as well as the whole Staff in Manizales are highly motivated to enhance educational advising, cultural exchange programs, and outreach to our communities through the "John F. Kennedy" Library, English Teaching training for public school teachers, among others.
Thanks again, John, Peter, Marsha, for a neat organization, great speakers, interesting workshops, and for your openness for further cooperation with the BNCs in Latin America.
Warm regards,
Clara L. de Estrada
Executive Director
BNC Manizales, Colombia
